Emergency services responded to a car vs motorcycle crash in Mount Maunganui.
The crash happened at the intersection of Exeter Street and Eversham Road at around 2:18 pm.
The motorcyclist was transported to hospital, sadly later dying.
The Serious Crash Unit was notified of the crash, and enquiries into the crash circumstances are ongoing.
