Hamilton Police announced that they’d recovered a painting that was reported stolen during a burglary earlier this year.

The painting Goldie was stolen from a Hamilton property, ‘Sleep ‘tis a gentle thing’ by New Zealand artist C.F.

Over the weekend, the painting was located following a continuation of investigations.

Authorities said to thisquality that the painting seems to be undamaged, but it has not yet been thoroughly examined.

Many other different and unique artworks and antiques were stolen between December 27 2020, and January 3 2021.

The owners were informed of the finding and were happy to know and hear that it was recovered.
