Peaceful protestors at Kennedy Point on Waiheke Island protecting an area that is a nesting site for Little Blue Penguins were attacked by security guards, Wednesday.
Developers of a planned marina are reportedly going ahead with construction despite a scheduled court hearing.
The area is a nesting site for Little Blue Penguins. Disturbance could cause a significant trouble.
With no violence being caused, security create a scene by pushing the person filming into the water and others.
Last week workers on the site deliberately rammed a boat into protestors leaving them stuck in between buoys. One person sustained a number of injuries to the neck, chest and wrist.
Police are investigating the incident after the footage emerged.
