New Zealand's Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern announced that she caught up with Australia's Prime Minister Scott Morrison on Tuesday.
In a Facebook post, Ardern wrote that the call topic was about recent Coronavirus vaccination work.
“Caught up with Australian PM, Scott Morrison today to talk about the COVID vaccine work we’ve been doing together,” Ardern wrote.
Herself and Morrison ‘rarely' schedule calls together — she happened to call him while he was in the middle of the outback.

Morrison had to prove to Ardern that he was in the outback by sending a photo of himself on the phone while wearing dark faded sunnies, a blue t-shirt and… you wouldn't guess it, pants within hot sunny Australian weather.
“We very rarely schedule our calls, and sometimes that means catching each other on the road,” Ardern wrote.
With patchy reception; the call was successful in the end.
