PM Jacinda Ardern made a comment on the Washington D.C. protests saying she has been watching what has played out.
In a Tweet on Thursday, she said that because she knows people in the United States, it is wrong for what’s happening.
“I share the sentiment of friends in the US – what is happening is wrong,” Ardern wrote.
“Democracy – the right of people to exercise a vote, have their voice heard and then have that decision upheld peacefully should never be undone by a mob.”
Ardern went to the extent to say she has no doubt about Democracy ‘prevailing’ — “Our thoughts are with everyone who is as devastated as we are by the events of today. I have no doubt democracy will prevail.”

Ardern rarely tweets statements, but she usually does when it comes to the death of known figures, disasters or most recently the U.S. accordingly in tune with protests against the alleged corrupt democracy America has appointed for centuries.
The protests follow alleged election irregularities and voter fraud as current President Donald J. Trump pursues to overturn the election results from Candidate Joe Biden.
