New Zealand PM Jacinda Ardern has spoken with US President-elect Joe Biden by phone, congratulating him on his elect status win — the US elections are still on-going and the winner has not been declared yet, but, projected.

Ardern said in a post on Instagram on Monday that she and Biden talked about Climate Change, Coronavirus and trade in the countries region.

“We talked about climate change, COVID 19, trade and our region.”

Arden says Biden ‘remembers fondly’ his 2016 trip to visit New Zealand, further saying she looks forward to speaking with him again, as the 46th President of the United States — that is if he wins the election.
