Bay of Plenty Police continues to consult the public in locating 31-year-old Aren Curtis, who Police want for failing to appear in court.

His relations to an incident in Mount Maunganui on Friday, March 19, are allegedly due to having discharged a firearm in police officers' direction while on foot during a pursuit.

Several enquiries were carried out in search of Curts, but he has not been located.

Curtis should not be approached as he could have possession of an alleged firearm. If you see him or know his whereabouts, call 105 and quote event number P045870211.

Information can also be given anonymously via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
