Police are on the lookout for two men who approached an informant and friend with an alleged pocket knife in Levin.
The informant and friend reported hearing an alleged pocket knife open as the two men approached them on Friday night.
Both ran towards the intersection of Queen Street and State Highway 1 from the Levin Aquatic Centre.
According to reports supplied to thisquality, the alleged pocket knife was not seen by the informant or friend.

Two Police units arrived within minutes to assess the scene and question the two about what happened.
Enquiries are underway into the identification of the two men. thisquality understands the two men were recorded on camera.
