Police have released the names of four people that were killed in a fatal crash in Ashburton on June 4.
The crash happened on Cochrane Road near Wakanui Road, involving a truck and van.
Three died at the scene, while one subsequently died at Ashburton Hospital.
They were 66-year-old Sheryll Cairns, 33-year-old Avinash Chand, and 61-year-old Donald Wallace of Christchurch. The fourth person was 54-year-old Jonathan Campbell of Auckland.
Police extend sympathies to their family and friends at this difficult time.
An investigation into the crash is continuing.
