Police responded to reports indicating a sudden death in Glen Innes.

A person was located deceased on a public walkway near Glen Innes Train Station. Enquiries are underway and the death is being treated as unexplained.

The walkway between Felton Mathew Ave and the train station was closed. However, the train station was still be operating as normal.

Cordons were in place for the remainder of the investigation period.
