The emergency approves Federal assistance to supplement the District’s response efforts over the 59th Presidential Inauguration conditions from January 11 to January 24, 2021.

In a White House Statement, Trump wrote: “Today, President Donald J. The President’s action allows the Department of Homeland Security, Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) to coordinate disaster relief efforts in providing appropriate assistance for required emergency measures.

The authorisation will save lives and protect property and public health and safety, blessing the threat of violence.

Emergency protective measures will be limited to direct Federal assistance, provided that 100 percent Federal funding is put into the assistance.
