Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern experienced an unexpected surprise while on an Air New Zealand flight on Monday.
Ardern met a woman sitting in front of her, who turned around discreetly smiling behind a rather distinctive face covering.
It featured the Prime Ministers face all over the face covering, and the reaction was priceless.
A Facebook post showed the proof was in the pudding; it was too good not to share to her 1.8m followers.
“When the person in front of you on the plane turns around to say good morning… still laughing,” said PM Ardern.
Presumably, laugher must have taken over and filled the cabin with joy as a staff member on the plane can be seen embarking with smirky eyes, likely grinning behind the blue medical mask as the Prime Minister was confronted.
