We all know re-useable bags at supermarkets are the most eco-friendly way of protecting the environment when it comes to plastic, hence why single-use plastic bags were banned on the 1st of July 2019. The ban had helped reduce the amount of plastic in our environment.

Due to the high demand for products at supermarkets, plastic consumption would be higher than ever from panic buyers stocking up on plastic yogurt tubs, plastic milk bottles, beverages, meat packs & other essential items; it questions many if re-usable bags are effective at all for supermarket shopping.

Re-useable bags are a vital role to bring to the supermarket for many shoppers, although how many times has a supermarket shopper touched the handles of their re-useable bag?

Supermarket shoppers may use sanitizer provided at the shop entrance, but would any supermarket buyer use that for their bag handles or even have the bag sprayed by a disinfectant?
