SIX60 so far is the largest current ‘live’ band on the planet that can play to a large audience outdoors without the Coronavirus stay-at-home orders.

Right Now SIX60 could claim to be the biggest live band on the planet. The success of their shows will give hope to musicians around the world that concerts will resume one day,” said BBC’s Mark Savage.

The band has sold out its third crowd at Taranaki’s picturesque outdoor venue bowl.

After three shows of trialling around New Zealand in Waitangi, Hastings and New Plymouth, it was indicated that they will now move them into larger cities over the success as another ‘massive achievement’ after selling out all shows.

SIX60 plans to host the next three shows in Wellington, Christchurch and Hamilton.

Sky stadium has over 30k tickets sold, and the amount of sales is growing daily to be one of the only and largest shows in the world to go ahead.

“The SATURDAY’s tour has received widespread international media attention and recognition citing that SIX60 is an anomaly in the world touring circuit right now,” wrote SIX60 in a statement to thisquality.

“We felt really fortunate we didn’t want the rest of the world to shut down for us to be able to do this, but look, we are lucky. We had some great leadership and we did what we had to do.”
