Auckland-based music band Swervecity released a new song called ‘Sink Like Stones’ bringing a scathing attack on the world’s leaders for their mishandling of Climate Change.
Leading Guitar and vocals, Kevin Ashby makes it heard screaming like Valkyries with a rhythm of section pounds that represent war drums played by Adam Forsdyke. The Bass ran-by-Shannon Coulomb brings an infiltration to the listeners’ senses.
In protest, JP Carroll adds to the vocals and Guitar mix to give the feels of a megaphone announcing something needing to be changed.
The group share the stage with former bands Armed In Advance and Fire At Will after playing many shows together for several years.
The band is on a mission to create music that is a ‘salve’ for the problems life brings and it stands for loyalty, camaraderie and humility.
