We rebranded. Our whole platform-wide rebrand on November 10 was set out to better suit the values we believe in at our organisation. Our core mission and goal is to publish the latest news and stories that matter most to our readers.

The content we produce isn't changing — from putting thought into it, at a local level, to covering the smaller things that matter where there's often little or no coverage. In relation to contextual write ups of crime, emergency, political affairs and breaking developments as they emerge.

thisquality introduced its new logo across all platforms, which represents a reader's craving to spark conversation among others, as we offer greater understandings of defiable outcomes, by making news and stories that we publish shareable. Everywhere.

Holding those in power to account and directing an influence to an audience with public interest messaging in the limelight is something we're unique for in the news media industry of Aotearoa New Zealand.

Sam Hudson, founder of thisquality said in a provided statement he's excited about where things are going.

“This is exciting, and allows us to be more connected to current events or emerging developments around the country,” he said.

“It will improve how our content is perceived and presented from a range of academics to journalists voicing their contextual content on our platform (the thisquality content hub network) in various categories at a local level, which are typically not covered or have little coverage.”

“Readers will get the latest news and stories that matter most to them when they visit our website.”

Improving our brand in the public domain allows us to Keep independent local Journalism going.
