Popular brand Value has issued a nationwide recall of its canned chopped tomatoes after stones were found present inside the product.

Consumers are being asked to check the batch numbers on the side of cans they have purchased.

The recall for affected batch numbers is SMS1 J213, TTA1 J214, TTA1 J215, and TTA1 J217.


The following supermarkets sell this product nationwide at New World, Pak’n Save, Four Square, Gilmours and Trents stores.
