The White House Budget Director criticised Candidate Joe Biden and his aides for lying about obstruction for the upcoming inauguration. There have in-fact been 45 meetings since late November.

On Monday Biden accused the budget office of putting ‘roadblocks’ up preventing a transition. According to OMB Director Russ Vought on Thursday within a letter to the Biden transition co-chairman Ted Kaufman, the claim is untrue.

The 45 meetings mean Biden’s staff have discussed specific issues, operation questions, and more. Sharing of the information was provided requested from OMB about specific ongoing programs in the U.S. Government.

The Biden transition office has been calling the shots before he allegedly takes office on January 20.

Defence officials reportedly have not been cooperating with the transition team fully.

“We’ve encountered roadblocks from the political leadership in the Department of Defense and the Office of Management and Budget. Right now, we just aren’t getting all the information that we need from the outgoing administration,” Biden said at a Monday press conference in Wilmington, Delaware.

Biden’s first budget proposal to Congress, due in February has been unable to progress due to the circumstances.
