A woman has been arrested under the Health Act after traveling to Northland with a Covid-19 positive individual.

Authorities located the woman at a West Auckland address and took her into custody under section 70 of the Health Act.

She was transported to a managed isolation facility under strict health protocols.

An investigation into this matter will be followed up with her.
