New Zealanders can now travel to Australia without quarantine following a suspension due to recent COVID-19 Community Cases in Northland and Auckland.
Australian authorities lifted restrictions and flights resumed from 4 pm Sunday (NZT).
Medical official Michael Kidd told the press in a conference on Sunday that the pause of flights not be extended.
“The Commonwealth has accepted this advice, and this means the green zone flights from New Zealand will recommence this afternoon,” said Michael Kidd.
