we should ensure public figures who have failed to uphold the values of their office are held accountable for all wrongdoing.
It is with great concern that I read of yet another historical sex charge against Mr Jago. His string of convictions is serious enough about the oversight of those in positions of power. Like, ow could a prominent figure have been entrusted with leading ACT when he had already been involved in sexual misconduct of such gravity? One must ask, what checks and balances were in place..
I am left underwhelmed, though not overly surprised, by the latest development in the ever-unfolding saga of that peds troubled past. Even after a previous guilty verdict for a string of historical sex charges, coupled with a prison sentence of almost two and a half years, this individual has seen fit to repeat their offending. The revelation that this sick deluded man has pleaded guilty to a fresh charge concerned me about the efficacy of our justice system in preventing such recidivism.
